Art Therapy
Art therapy is a discipline that bridges creative expression with psychological insight. Through the act of making art in a therapeutic context, unconscious emotions, patterns, and narratives can surface in a safe and constructive way. It is not about creating something “beautiful” in the conventional sense, but about using the creative process as a mirror of the inner world.
My approach and education is rooted in relational psychotherapy and shaped by my experience in the creative industries. I see art-making as a tool to foster resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and open spaces for transformation - individually and collectively.
I also extend these practices into leadership and team development, where creativity becomes a catalyst for dialogue, empathy, and new ways of thinking. In both therapeutic and professional contexts, art has the power to heal, connect, and expand our sense of what is possible.
-
One-to-one art therapy sessions that provide a safe and supportive space to explore personal themes, emotions, and inner narratives through creative expression.
-
Art therapy empowers children to develop coping skills, build self-esteem, and find healing. Through creative expression, they can communicate thoughts and emotions beyond words in nurturing educational and leisure environments.
-
Adolescence is a period marked by internal shifts—identity formation, peer dependence, and societal pressure. I offer tailored sessions that support adolescents in navigating these transitions. By engaging in art-making, they can explore self-expression, gain personal insights, and develop new coping mechanisms that resonate with their growth.
-
Tailored programs for organizations and teams that use creative methods to unlock new perspectives, encourage dialogue, and build emotional intelligence. Art becomes a tool to reimagine leadership, collaboration, and culture.
The goal of art therapy is to utilize the creative process to help people explore self-expression and, in doing so, find new ways to gain personal insight + develop new coping skills. The creation or appreciation of art is used to help people explore emotions, develop self-awareness, cope with stress, boost self-esteem, and work on social skills.
I am a trained Art Therapist with a Master’s degree from Metàfora Art Therapy and Studio Art School in Barcelona. An integrative and interdisciplinary program well-respected across Europe. At the British School in Barcelona, I currently work with children aged 6 to 10, leveraging the therapeutic potential of creative expression to foster emotional resilience and well-being.
